Exceptional means to literally “be the exception”. When we think of exceptional developers, we tend to think of “the absolute best” in their field. But it tends to get hazy when we try to define what “being the best” means.

Does it mean the best code? The best problem-solver? The best manager? All of the above?

A core part of my philosophy with Exceptional Frontend is to help you redefine and think about how you can be exceptional outside of just code. In my eyes, being exceptional is more about creating unique differences that showcase your expertise in a positive way, in comparison with those around you. Then, learning how to showcase those differences in an honest and non-scummy way.

Exceptional Frontend does this itself by being unlike any other dev newsletter in the industry.
